HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Say Hello, send us a message via our contact page. Use the list provided to include as many details as possible. Once we receive your email, we will get in contact with your quote. It’s that simple.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED?
To ensure each cake is spectacular, we work on a first in first served basis. To maintain our high standards, we only create a limited number of speciality cakes each week.
Please allow a minimum 3-4 week window prior to your event for our custom cakes.
Wedding cake orders can be placed up to 12 months in advance, or as soon as you have finalised your date and venue. We suggest no less than 6 months notice for all wedding cake orders as wedding season is a busy time and we would hate for you to miss out.
Our bookings can vary from week to week, so if you have a last minute order we will do our best to accommodate you. Please send us an enquiry via our contact page.
DO YOU PROVIDE CAKE TASTINGS?
Cake tasting appointments are only available for couples who have secured a wedding cake order. Cake tastings take place in The Cakehouse, located on the beautiful Gold Coast. You can view our cake flavours on our flavours page.
WHAT ARE THE PRICES FOR YOUR CAKES?
As our cakes are all custom made, we quote each creation individually. Please find our pricing guide on our Pricing page. Remember this is only a guide. Contact us for a more accurate quote.
WHAT SIZE CAKE DO I NEED?
You will find a size guide and serving amounts on our pricing page. Remember more cake is never a problem.
DO YOU MAKE FONDANT CAKES?
No we don’t. We can create such incredible things with buttercream and ganache that we don’t cover our cakes in fondant. This way our cakes taste almost as good as they look!
DO YOU JUST MAKE CAKES?
We make all things sweet. Cupcakes, slices, macaroons, sweet buffets. We also love a challenge so if you have something in mind let us help you bring it to fruition.
DO YOU DELIVER OR CAN I PICK MY CAKE UP?
YES WE DO! Our delivery zone ranges as far as the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and down to Byron Bay.
If your cake is two tiers or less in size you are more than welcome to come and pick it up from The Cakehouse located on the beautiful Gold Coast. All cakes three tiers or higher are delivery only, as these cakes will be constructed at your venue.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CAKE?
Ganache Cakes need to be kept in a cool dry place and left at room temperature. NOT in the fridge.
Buttercream Cake, are to be kept in the fridge when possible and taken out a minimum of 1.5hrs before serving. This will allow your cake to return to room temperature for serving.
HOW TO CUT MY CAKE?
We will send you a video on how to best cut your cake when we confirm the collection/delivery details. Please watch and contact us if you have any questions.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation of your booking. The remaining 50% of your payment is required no less than 14 days prior to your confirmed order date. Once paid in full if cancellation occurs before 14 days you will be refunded 50% of your payment, if cancelation occurs after this 100% of your payment will be forfeited. This is due to the fact that we do a lot of preparation once orders have been made. So please make sure you are 100% happy and committed before you place an order with us.
